Meridian delivers its sports betting and casino products both directly to customers (‘B2C’) through physical shops as well as online and also indirectly on a B2B basis through franchise and joint venture arrangements.
Retail and online (B2C)
The vast majority of Meridian’s operations are direct (i.e. B2C) split between retail and online. We currently operate more than 430 “own” betting shops and depending on the licences Meridian have, offer sports betting and/or casino and other fixed odds games in any given territory.
Meridian’s online operations represent all sports bets placed and all casino games on Meridian’s websites and mobile apps.
Franchise and JV model (B2B)
Our franchise model comprises the design, development and licensing of our sports betting technology, and the provision of complementary services, to franchisees and other entities. We currently have 12 Franchisees and B2B partners operating in 12 different countries. This franchise or joint venture approach is generally a lower risk method to establishing Meridian in a new jurisdiction compared with building a B2C presence from scratch.
